I’ve been rehabbing furniture in my own home for years. I was so tired of all my furniture getting dented, stained, and broken from my kids. So, I decided to start converting my broken furniture into new duds. From there, my business just kind of took off! I found an amazing teacher who trained me on the in’s and out of upholstery and continued to take courses all over the world until I felt experienced enough to open a store. I started my Etsy shop a few years back and have expanded my business to include local carpenters who now build all my custom chairs, headboards and bed frames. I started out as Cheeky Chairs and have transformed into Kelly Kate Design, Chair & Headboard Studio. Thank you to those of you who have been with me since the beginning, and welcome to those who are just finding me! We have so much to do together! Let’s get to work!
